Sherry DelGrosso, DNP, RN, LNC, has over 30 years of nursing and leadership experience in the following specialties: legal nurse consulting, healthcare consulting, hospital management, academia, research, and clinical nursing, including intensive care (pediatrics, cardio-thoracic, surgery/trauma), and home health nursing.
Legal Nurse Consulting Services:
- Work with attorneys to create customized solutions to medical cases
- Render informed opinions on nursing and other healthcare outcomes
- Identify issues, omissions and discrepancies with medical records or bills
- Prepare reports and summaries and conduct literature research
- Serve as a liaison between attorneys, expert witnesses, and clients from complaint through favorable verdict
- Locate and retain expert witnesses who offer specialized insight and knowledge relevant to the circumstances of the case and the standard of care
- Educate attorneys regarding medical facts, timelines, treatments, nursing terminology, and other relevant health care information
- Available to assist with cases/sub-contract with other legal nurse consultants
Academia: teach five graduate-level courses as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA.
Professional Memberships: Sigma Theta Tau, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC), the Editorial Committee for the Journal of Legal Nurse Consulting (JLNC), American Organizational of Nursing Leadership (AONL), and the American Nurses Association (ANA).
