Bio

A repertoire of health care experiences have prepared me for the changes with health care and its effective delivery. Having worked in acute care, rehabilitative institutes, community-based care settings such as occupational health clinics, and home health agencies guides me in assisting organizations to meet the upcoming challenges in delivering safe, effective, necessary, timely, and cost-sensible care. I understand where the strengths of each care delivery model lies and where the disconnections and fragmentation occur to increase the cost of care without necessarily increasing the efficiency or effectiveness of received care.

Additional experiences of working with older adults with chronic diseases, case management, evidence-based practice,Informatics, working with advanced practice nurses, technology and education have exposed me to the many aspects of care management which are necessary components to understand if organizations are going to adapt to changing health care environments.

From a technology and Informatics perspective I am continually working to develop my own personal skills as well as improving the systems at my workplace.
