I have dual passions within the healthcare world. I am passionate about nursing and nursing leadership and related to that passion I'm currently completing my doctoral work in nursing practice. I thoroughly enjoy mentoring staff into leadership roles within their areas of passion.
I'm also passionate about healthcare emergency preparedness. I have been involved in this area of healthcare for the past 10 years and feel strongly that being an RN, I bring a different level of understanding related to the clinical impact of a disaster response. I have had the opportunity to develop our current program from hospital based to system level response.
