I've been a nurse for about 11 years, and have enjoyed exploring several different facets of nursing. I began at the bedside in an acute care hospital, mainly on a step down cardiac unit and ICU. I took an on-call hospice nurse position at night so see the community side of nursing as well. I then took on several roles, including some in leadership and education for about 5 years, trying to see what my true passion was in nursing. I found I like leadership roles, but education is my true passion. I'm currently full time in education in a large health system in my area. I'm getting to live my dream and help nurses become their best self. I love helping to develop young staff, and giving them the opportunity to reach their true potential.
