I have been a Registered Nurse since 1990 and started my nursing career as the 11pm to 7 am only RN in the facility in a rural Oklahoma Community. I progressed to ICU/CCU in 1992 and have worked primarily critical care, cardiac cath lab, and Radiology nursing. In 2007, I became a clinical nurse educator and progressed to a full-time Assistant Professor position in 2010. I currently teach online courses in RNBSN programs and love the flexibility of being an online professor, but also the online interaction with my students.
My personal interests are my family, who all live nearby, my horses, dogs, cats and my mini ranch, which takes most of my personal time. I love going to church and participating in community events, such as volunteering for the Christian radio station 88.7 The Cross.
