I graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in 1979. I started out as a staff nurse on night shift in the Labor and Delivery Unit. I had the opportunity to work in all areas of the hospital for 23 years. I held the roles of staff nurse, charge nurse, house supervisor, and Director in those 23 years. I transitioned to higher education in 2002. I have grown from instructor to professor; to BSN Program Coordinator in the past 20 years. I enjoy reading, watching crime dramas, science fiction, listening to 70's music, and my wonderful fur babies. I have two corgis, a bulldog mix, and too many cats. I love education and learning.
