I have practiced as a registered nurse for almost 20 years in a wide variety of roles, holding positions in acute care, oncology, clinical research, geriatric home care triage, quality assurance, and currently in the academic setting as a clinical placement coordinator. In each of these positions I have felt great pride as a nurse, and have eagerly sought to emulate the highest standards of both the science and the art of nursing. Presently, I am deeply enjoying my experience as a PhD student in the Decker School of Nursing at Binghamton University as I expand my knowledge base in the discipline of nursing.
