Bio

Nadia Joseph, MSN, RN-B-C has over 25 years’ experience in Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY at downstate, her Master of Science with education track from Molloy College. Nadia is both certified Medical Surgical nurse and a certified Geriatric nurse. She has experience in critical care, level I trauma for over 10 years at SUNY Stony Brook & Downstate Hospital, Assistant Nurse Manager at Winthrop University Hospital for over 5 years, full time Nursing faculty at Nassau Community College for over 7 years. Currently, Nadia is the Orientation Coordinator for Professional, Staff Development at South Nassau Communities Hospital. In the present role, Nadia is also responsible for managing the preceptor program. She collaborates with the healthcare team on multidisciplinary projects that address the ever changing landscape of healthcare. As an educator, she is constantly revising the curriculum development to ensure that the learner receives current information as it relates to best practice. She is coordinate school clinical placement.Nadia is an adjunct faculty member at Adelphi University where she teaches Nursing Care of the Older Adult for the undergraduate program. Nadia is a member of Joint Commission Readiness and Nursing Education Professional Development Council. She also a member of ANA.
