I live in Bellingham, WA, just south of the Canadian border. I'm married with two girls, ages 21 and 9. I received my ADN from Whatcom Community College in June of 2018. I currently work in the ICU at the local hospital after spending almost a year in the ED. Before that, I was a tech in the ED for 3 years and before that, I worked as a dialysis tech for 2 years. I've also been a CNA in long term care and I'm a former professor/instructor of biology, nutrition, and anatomy & physiology. I'm currently getting used to my new unit, but looking at schools to work on my MSN in Nursing Education so that I can combine my former experience in education with my current experience as a nurse.
