I am a registered nurse with 14 years of combined nursing experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Telemetry, and Neuro-Oncology/Neurosurgery Ambulatory nursing. I graduated with a BSN from UT Health Science Center in 2012 and a Master in Clinical Nurse Leadership from UTMB at Galveston in 2014. Currently, I am a part-time Ph.D. student at the Texas Woman University with research interests and a career focus in quality, patient safety and end of life issues. I have earned certifications in Med/Surgical Nursing (RN-BC), Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and patient safety professional (CPPS) respectively. On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my kids and participating in community activities.
