I became a nurse in 2006 after being a public school teacher for 4 years. My first job as an RN was in an acute dialysis unit, with a transition to the education department in 2015. I have been at the same hospital my entire nursing career.
In August 2018, I completed my MSN Nurse Educator track from UNCW. My goal is stay in professional development and guide nurses in their professional growth.
I have 2 daughters, ages 6 and 10 and stay busy with their activities. I play volleyball and softball during their seasons. I also love time spent with my family at the lake. On weekends we go 'off the grid" and play on the water and explore islands at the lake.
