Hello,
My name is Janice D. Ivery and I have worked in the health care field greater than 30 years. I began working as a medical technician in the United States Air force at Andrews Airbase in 1980 until 1984. In 1984 I joined the Air force Reserves until I retired as a Flight nurse in 2006 from Dobbins Airbase in Marietta Georgia. I have worked in various areas of nursing to include emergency nursing, adult and pediatric, special procedures lab, gastroenterology lab, same day surgical clinic, oncology, open heart step-down and cardiac step-down unit to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to educate novice nurses and assist with developing policies and procedures. I am committed to ensuring that Nurses are respected as professionals and are represented in the political process during the development of health care policies.
